For leaders who don't leave their impact to chance
Leadership is revealed where words fall short.
Horses don't respond to titles or status—they respond to what's actually happening. This makes equine-assisted leadership development the most effective development format available.

How to tell that technical expertise alone is no longer enough
You've mastered your craft. You know how to solve problems, make decisions, and deliver results. That's what got you to where you are today.
But what used to be your strength now creates friction. Not because you've become less capable—but because leadership requires different signals than technical excellence. Signals that can't simply be switched on. Signals that have to be developed.
Friction You Can't Grasp
"The team is delivering. But something's draining the energy—and I don't know what."
Directness That Polarizes
"I say what I mean. Some appreciate that. Others withdraw. I don't understand why."
Decisions That Aren't Supported
"Rationally, the matter is clear. Yet no one's on board. It's like talking to a brick wall."
Alone at the Top
"I can't talk to the team. I don't want to talk to HR. And not really to colleagues at the same level either."
Why Horses Give More Precise Leadership Feedback Than Words
Horses are prey animals. For millennia, their survival has depended on reading intentions—not words. They register in milliseconds whether someone is clear or hesitant, whether posture and intention align, whether leadership is truly taking place or merely asserted.
This makes them the most precise feedback instrument available. Not despite their directness—because of it.
What you learn about yourself when working with horses is not an abstract self-image. It is observable behavior—in real time, without interpretation, without social considerations. The insights are immediately transferable: to the difficult conversation, the meeting where you feel lost, the team that isn't following you.
Leadership effectiveness begins before the first word. Horses show you what's happening there.
Immediate
The feedback comes the moment it arises—not afterward, unfiltered by politeness or hierarchy. You see immediately what your behavior triggers.
Unpretentious
Horses aren't interested in pleasing you. No title, no rhetoric, no demeanor impresses them. What matters is whether you're truly clear—or if it only appears that way.
Transferable
What you learn here doesn't stay in the pasture. The patterns that emerge are the same ones that operate in your everyday life as a leader—in meetings, one-on-one conversations, and decision-making situations.

About Me
Who’s guiding you
I'm Nina Hofbauer-Haunold—coach, trainer, and business consultant.
Two and a half decades in international IT and technology companies have shown me how much untapped potential remains in leaders: not due to a lack of effort, but because they lack awareness of their own impact.
I've worked in sales, marketing, and business development, on projects across the DACH, CEE, and EMEA regions, in international teams spanning multiple time zones.
My part-time studies in Knowledge Management at FHWien laid the academic foundation for what still drives me today: how people and organizations develop, share, and leverage their potential.
Today, I combine this background with in-depth training in systemic coaching, NLP, mental training, and horse-assisted development.
I speak my clients' language—because I've spoken the same language for a long time.

Working together
Independently. Not alone.
I surround myself with people who take good work seriously – and I'm happy to recommend them.
